Jack P Shepherd - David Platt
Am I the only person fed up with the David Platt story lines and wish he would just disappear? His story lines are so predictable.
Not so long ago Jack was interviewed for a programme and he annoyed me just as much in person, how many times in one interview can a person use the word basically?
Personally I don't think he will be recognised as an all round actor anytime soon!

As if all that has happened to Gail could happen to one person - husband murdered, serial killer husband, daughter pregnant at 12, driven in to canal, psycho son. I am sure there is more, but it is just too depressing.........................

I too long for the old style Corrie with believable characters and plots and massive doses of humour. It goes from bad to worse.
However, I agree about Fizz and Chestney (and 'Kiirky')and would add Eileen and Steve to my favourites. All very good actors with a terrific ability to also be humourous.
And to answer the question - yes, I am fed up with David Platt and hope he gets put away for a long time (and takes all the boring people along with him)!

I totally agree with you HJT40 and David is about to be interred in a young offenders institute. We have even more to add to your list of Gail's life as well. David is going to smash up the street with a scaffolding pole, he will damage cars, windows and wait for it.......... Ken Barlow ! If that isn't enough Gail's long lost father is going to turn up (Michael Byrne) and it turns out he's gay. How much more can the poor girl take?
