Hi - does anyone know anything about how to hire out a car for films and TV? We have a 1974 mini in very good condition which has been faithfully restored (no boy racer fog lamps etc) and think it would be perfect for period TV/films. Any answers (positive and negative) would be greatly appreciated, even if you don't think its a good idea. Thanks in advance.

There are companies that hire out vehicles, I guess they would have various cars on their books as well as cars they own.

You may find some information through The Stage magazine and website...

Going from a recent interview with Phillip Glenister about Ashes To Ashes, and the Quattro they used in that,I gather you also need nerves of steel.Either that or never go to watch the filming.
