Does anyone know how to check for flight arrivals on teletext done through a sky channel ?
This can be done on bbc1 through ordinary telly but my dad has just got sky and he can no longer watch telly using his old channels and the teletext (or ceefax) is different when doing it through sky and doesn't show flight arrivals ! Sorry if this sounds complicated but if anyone can help I'd be grateful !

Even if you have Sky you should still be able to watch the "old" channels via your aerial.

Plug the aerial back into the TV (or plug it into the Sky box, then with another cable from the Sky box to the TV).

This should then give you your old signal back and you can watch the old channels and old teletext (which is much faster than the teletext via your Sky box).

I have Sky and can still watch the "old" channels on my TV.

Yeah we can still watch tv the 'old way' but he reckons he can't ! I'll pass the info on to him. Thanks very much.
I have to admit digital text gets on my very last nipple end ... I for one will be really sorry when th final big switch happens. As a more acessible fight arrival system is here

I will use that instead off old fashioned text if I have to!!
I swear someone removes letters in the submit process - I meant flight arrival.
Thanks Sense for that answer but unfortunately Manchester is not there which is the nearest airport to me
