What's the name of that sound effect they use on TV, Radio and Pantomime which indicates a dramatic moment?

It sort of goes DAA - DAA - DAAAAAAAAAAAAA

They use it on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway sometimes when they reveal something mysterious has happened or about to happen.

Anyway, where can I get this sound effect to download?

You're on the right lines but not quite what I'm looking for.

It's sounds like it may come from a B-Movie or a comedy film or cartoon during a moment of tension or suspense.
I'm not to sure which musical instruments are used to create the sound.

I've spent hours online trying to find it.
If I can't find it by this Saturday I'm throwing in the towel and giving up the search.

I wish I could remember exactly where I've heard it in use so I could then direct people to the sound effect.
When I said in my question that it was used in Ant & Dec's show I was referring to the series before the latest just finished. It was just a one off moment.

It's not really that important, I just thought someone might know offhand exactly what I was meaning.

Is it the opening drum roll to "Fanfare for the common man" by Emerson Lake and Palmer?

It's not Fanfare for the Common Man by EL&P.
There's no drums in the sound effect.
It's a crescendo of three short notes with the third note sustained slightly.

Don't lose any sleep over it - LOL :)

It was good listening to the Emerson, Lake & Palmer song again though, not heard it in ages.
