My cat purring, and also when she does that weird meow that sounds like a pigeon! lol
I hate the sound of a clock ticking. I can't sleep if there is one in the room. Also hate knuckle cracking, and the sound some people make when talking on the radio, a sort of wet sound as if they never swallow properly and perpetually have saliva in their mouths....Weird, I know...lol

Love the sound of rain outside or a storm with thunder and lightening and the sound of the sea or water lapping.
Love church bells too (used to work next to St Paul's and loved hearing them. Love the scouse accent too.
A former colleague used to make this disgusting noise with his cheeks and I always had to shut my ears...ewwww

The sound of a baby laughing can creep me right out! :S Sorry. If it was my baby it might be different.
I agree with you, sandrajo, sirens panic me. I also hate to hear people arguing, especially in public.
Love the sound of my favourite songs, the sound of the sea when I walk the dog at the beach and it's empty but for us, the sound of my friends on the phone, especially if it's been an age since we caught up! Also the sound of people having a good time, be it laughing in the park, or screaming and giggling on a night out.
