I'm impressed, noknowledge, you very nearly spelled gonorrhoea right!

(A very difficult word to spell - not that I would know about gonorrhoea ..... erm ..... the only thing I know about STD's is that it used to stand for Subscriber Trunk Dialling in the good old days when I worked in the telephone exchange).

If anyone on here tells you it's because I'm a regular at the (ahem) clinic, they are dirty rotten liars 'cos I've only been the once ..... oops didn't mean to say that).

I think she fled to a foreign country and took a load of Pollard's money with her.

Wasn't a shoe or something found in a wood ages ago, it was traced to Gloria and the police came to see Pollard to identify it. Something like that anyway! I think it was presumed she was dead, as I think her handbag was found somewhere as well. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for that, noknowledge, I stand corrected on my gonorrhea (just looked it up again in my Collins Gem Dictionary, and it only gives one spelling in there - gonorrhoea - pah!)

Think we're getting our soaps mixed up here - but can't for the life of me remember how Gloria left the series. Think you could be right about her being an MP though, and something rings a bell about her going to London.
