We are going down to Leicester Square on Monday for the premiere (only standing outside to watch them go in etc). Has anyone been to a premiere before, We dont know what time to get there for to be guaranteed a good spot. Do we need to be like really really early (morning time) or would mid afternoon / lunchtime be ok.....We dont want to go about 10 in the morning and be the only ones stood there for about 6 hours!! Any ideas??

I guess the bigger the starts, the bigger the crowd.

I have sometimes wondered past when there is a premiere( I work in the West End), but have only ever waited outside once (for Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes). We were there for at least an hour before the stars arrived, and I managed to get to the front of a barrier and shake Mark Wahlburg's hand.

I would imagine the crowds start soon after the barriers go up outside the cinema. Anyone milling around outside the cinema before then will have to be moved for the barriers.

Great, thank you!
I suppose if we find ourselves there too early it wont be a problem occupying ourselves in London for a bit.
