about 25 years ago i watched a kids tvc prog called "the learning tree" no onei know remembers it, it was a tree with a mans face in the trunk and it used to tell stories etc, anyone remember it?

I know the one you mean, and the Early Learning Centres & MOthercare had the tree itself in a lot of their stores in the 1990's. Did a search on Jeeves but the only thing it came up with was the new Learning Tree method of teaching pre-school children ... but no tv programme.
