"Jason X" came out last year, this was the tenth film in the Friday the 13th films. The last Nightmare on Elm Street was "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" and this was the seventh in the series. But ofcourse they have also made Freddy Vs. Jason which continued from the ninth film in the Friday the 13th series.
