Prog on BBC1 now called heir hunters. A firm tracking down possible beneficiaries of larges unwilled estates.
I thought the BBC were impartial funded by licence payers.
Why are they doing free adverts for a private money making company and asking licence payers to foot the bill. If they make a lot of money from commission will the fee be reduced.
This is scandalous

On yesterdays programme an elderly gentleman died intestate, his estate was worth approx 1 million. As he had no will and they could not find any family the government seized the lot as the law states they are entitled to everything. He was to be buried in a paupers grave until friends clubbed together and paid for a decent funeral and headstone. Now that's what I call scandalous Doc.
