I always thought you weren't allowed to put an S on the end of a previous word to pluralise it. I know if the new word contains an S it's okay to pluralise the other word, but just an S? all by itself??
I was challenged on this today, and self-righteously thought I was correct.. but it doesn't say you can't in the rules.
I hate being wrong! someone tell me I'm right please, preferably with some evidence. I thank you :o)
