whats your favourite accent??

just curious to know what peoples favourite accents are?? i have a northern irish accent with subtle english tones but think it sounds utterly common. love welsh accents and some soft scottish but only on men for some reason, hubby is has quite a mixture of english accents and is fairly posh sounding!! curious!!!

Northern Irish is my favourite accent and certain Scouse accents. Mine is fairly broad Lancashire, 'utterly common' as well :)

You will think I am just saying this, but I think Irish accents are the sexiest in the world, but only on females for some reason. Think the southern accent is slightly sexier for some reason, so hope to get a flood of emails from lovely single Irish girls after posting this.

I love the Scottish accent.

We have a Scottish girl at work, despite living in London for years has never lost her accent and I could listen to her all day!!

And don't get me started on Taggart!

1st i have no idea what kes is?? am sort of in between on scouse accents i think it depends if its fairly soft it bugs me and unfortunately some not all but some northern accents grate on me unbelieveably despite living in the lake district for 3 yrs think its due to a friend of a friend who just drove me batty with her voice arggh!! so it seems being irish isnt that bad at all when it comes to the accent being liked, strangly enought the majority of previous boyfriend were english or welsh somehow or other and now married to lovely english man!! go irish!!!

Which is why Im gutted that I cant hear my fellas accent anymore, but everyone says he still has a strong accent! :-(

yes it would sseem alot of people who arnt from northern ireland do like the accent but i tell ya when i watch tellyand someone from here speaks i just cringe!! i guess my heart and miind are just english!!

I actually live in Belfast, and I have to say, I used to like the accent, but I don't anymore, it just grates on me now! lol
I lived in Scotland for 3 years, and still love that accent.
I love English too.....BBC english kinda...Well, that's what it sounds like to me! lol South London?
