Other channel shadows on the tv screen

I have just purchased a new tv and are getting shadows on the screen from other channels, anyone know what i need to do to get rid? Tv is through Sky and we are using scart connections, is it that we need to switch to the hdmi connections instead?

Are your scarts firmly pushed in?

Or your leads may be touching in places and that causing it. Sounds silly I know but I had this years ago, and only discovered the cause by accident when I moved the scart leads about.

We had the same problem and it turned out that one of the leads was in the wrong place.
