early pregnancy worries, please help if you can x
I am currently 6 and a half weeks pregnant. On thursday last week i had some cramp like paind low down in my tummy, not as bad as period pains but felt similar. I also had some pink discharge when wiping after using the toilet. I called my midwife who made an appointment for me at the early pregnancy unit at my local hospital on friday morning .The doctor did an ultrasound and could see the sack but it looked empty so he did an internal ultrasound and could see the baby , it measured 4mm long and had a strong heartbeat and he said everything looked fine. The discharge had stopped by this time and pain had gone too but on sunday i got the pain back in exactly the same place and had brown discharge when wiping . This only happened for a few hours and has settled back down again now but i am still worried.
This is my third pregnancy and i didnt experience this with the last two . Any advice anyone could offer would be very much appreciated.

I'm sure if it were anything worse you would be experiencing alot of pain. All the same if your still worried phone the midwife again for reassurance or NHS Direct on 0845 4647. They won't think your stupid its normal to worry and thats what they're there for. Take care and I hope everything works out ok, I'm sure it willxxx.
Brown blood is rarely something to worry about as it is just old blood being flushed away
Pink discharge as you describe is very common in early pregnancy is is usually referred to as an implantation bleed - this is also accompanied by cramps and the aches you are describing
I had all the above with my 2nd but nothing at all with my first
