V10 Connecting Wire

I have a set of Logitech V10 speakers that I use with my laptop. Whilst I think they are a good piece of kit, there is one problem. The connecting wire that doubles as the speaker stands has broken and I'm looking to replace it. I can't seem to find anywhere on the internet that supplies them and I'm reluctant to pay �30 for the whole package (best deal on Ebay approx �17.50) for the sake of a piece of wiring.

Any ideas would be welcome.
