to a disco or the pictures by yourself?

I have been to the pub on my own many times (traditional ones, not loud monkey music ones) minded my own business and sat in the corner with a pint of ale and a single malt chaser whilst attempting The Times crosswords, but have never been to a disco or the pictures on my Jack Jones.

Are such folk seen as weird, even though you do not know their personal circumstances?

no but I guess I could if i wanted to wouldnt bother me. I was wondering other day how you always see old blokes in pub sat by fire with pint if when I get older there will be more old women sat in pub on own with a bottle of wkd

I 've hardly been to the pictures in my life never mind going on my own lol and Ive never been to a disco unless you count school ones.

I've been to the pub loads of times on my own though.

Ive been to the cinema on my own a couple of times, when I couldn't find anyone who hadn't already seen a particular movie.
I used to go to the pub on my own, but it got me in trouble a few times, so I don't anymore.

I really can't see the point of going to the cinema with anyone - you sit in the dark, unable to talk. Far better to go on your own

In my local, or in city center pubs after shopping. In any case, I wouldn't have known anyone!

I know a few stuffy Professors at my school and that is it in Scotchland.

No friends and at present no woman as she is away.

i am a fan of pixar but i'm remembering when i was little, the reaction most of a cinema audience had when there was a bloke sat on his own watching the little mermaid.
