As an aside, I moored near Peter Snow's yacht in plymouth & fowey this summer. Not as flash as you'd imagine - delightfully scruffy. Hows that for a bit of semi-celebrity absolutely useless piece of information.
I agree about Jane, bigmamma. I think Goldie stands a good chance, which, considering his type of music is far removed from the classical pieces he is conducting, is quite odd. The man has music in his very bones - he seems to really feel it.
Oh, Bigmamma, how could anyone choose between them? I must admit I think Sue did a better job with Beethoven's 5th, but I'm so sorry that one of them had to lose. I do hope they do this again. I've enjoyed it immensely..
