Who cares about the financial markets?
2 Answers
The state of the economy, the FTSE 100, exchange rates etc? It's all a con. Who cares? It seems to me like the banks and financial peope are looking for excuses to soften the blow when they charge you even more for your credit card or other services. Who gives a fcuk about the FTSE 100? Who gives a fcuk about the exchange rate? It's not as though you can do anything about it anyway. The credit crunch? I work for a company that distributes luxury goods to a well known retailer. These are flat screen televisions, home cinema systems, sound systems etc, and believe me they are absolutely flying out. Orders have doubled in the past two weeks. Financial news? It's a load of b0ll0cks.

I put it down to people living above their means in the first place, taking out horrendously large mortgages and then being unable to cope with increases. It does cause people stress and problems but I suppose it has a lot to do with the 'consumer' society we live in at the moment. A lot of people are moaning about their financial problems just now due to the 'credit crunch', I wager these are the same people who gloated when they moved into their fancy new houses!
