Tudors - Am I going mad or what...

If anyone has been watching The Tudors, Is it my imagination that Queen Katharine, in the first few episodes was played by an Irish actress, whose name I just cannot remember, who was very good and in the last two episodes, Katharine on her deathbed has been played by another actress completely. Or is it me??

No it was the same actress. Maria Doyle Kennedy.
She was also one of the backing singers in The Commitments.
Obviously she had to be made to look old in the Tudors......

No, it's you! It's been Maria Doyle Kennedy throughout. She probably looked different on her deathbed cos she was, well...........dying :-) xx

Well I'm blowed, she looks completely different in the last few episodes to me - darker hair, and a different accent. It must be my age then. I will have to admit I was wrong now to him indoors. Thanks for that.
