Bosian War Movie Title

Does anybody know the name of a movie, which followed four friends, that were split up because of the war. The two men in the families ended up fighting against each other. One was a sniper who eventually was killed by his former friend. The film was shown on the BBC twice a few years a go. Anybody any ideas
