Need to vent about school

Hi All,
I have been having a problem with a boy in one of my classes. I had him removed from class 3x last week. 2x for refusing to put his phone away and stay off it and once fro refusing to sit in his assigned seat. All these events were accompanied by his foul mouth and me trying not to slap him!! Today when i asked him for the 50th time to stop talking he told me to "Suck his D1ck"
This is the 5th time since school started that he has told an adult this and last year he threatened to slap a teacher. Calls to the mom make no difference and the principal says to be patient he has severe ADD. I have taught other ADD kids and he is not ADD he is A S S.
Finally, the principal agreed to a 3 day suspension. Until his very active PTA mom shows up and cries about her little baby.
AARRGGGHH!!! How can one kid out of 34 ruin a class? I get si mad that he gets to me. AARRGGHH!!!!
Thanks for listening!

She is not allowed to do anything more than make the child stand outside the classroom door, then the head comes along and practically tells her off for making the child traumatised (sp) the head lets the kid back into the classroom to cause further trouble. Problem is, she is a very good teacher but isd now questioning her choice of career.

Hi EngTeach. As a school Science Tech I really do sympathise with you. I see this sort of thing happening and know only too well how unruly pupils can wreck a lesson for everyone else, whether they have problems or not. It's totally unfair on the kids that DO want to learn. Not to mention how angry it makes you when there is no support from the parents of such children where discipline in school is concerned.
Yes, you have to make allowances for those with special needs, but that doesn't mean giving them carte blanche to do as they please. There has to be clear and firm consequences for totally unacceptable behaviour or where will it ever stop?
