Postman Pat Updated
Postman Pat has been updated! He now has a mobile phone modern equipment and a helicopter for emergency and large deliveries! I think he may have had a touch of Grecian 2000 as his hair is reddish brown. Do you think it is right to modernise him or was it more appealing in the old format! What next Bill & Ben organic gardeners. {New Postman Pat on TV Monday}!

Postman Pat would be lucky to get a decent bike nowadays and would have to supply his own biro, let alone a gryocopter (with I notice, a space for jess even though we aren't allowed to take animals (I know, cos years back I got told off for walking my dog on second delivery). Oh yeah, and apart from Greendale, he probably would have to deliver to all the other villages now too.

I understand Thomas the tank Engine has been updated as well (a friend with young children told me).
They have taken the old program and added digtial movement.
So now Thomas's face moves and he speaks (as do the other trains).
Also the Fat Controller and other characters move about on the platform instead of just standing there like dummies.
Of course it does not need to voice over now because the characters speak themselves.
