Good old Kenny Everett used to come up with top tens for death and general tragedy songs - most of which were C&W based - but can anybody remember the titles? The Drunk Driver and Teddy Bear were in there....can you remember who recorded The Drunk Driver? Red Sovine was Teddy Bear, innit?

Don't know where to find the Kenny Everett ones but there are some cracking "best of the worst" ones at http://www.downstream.sk.ca/country.htm my personal favourite is "I Still Miss You Baby... But My Aim is Getting Better" ;-)
