In recent years, Beadle was plagued by ill health. In 2004, he lost a kidney to cancer and, a year later, he was diagnosed with a mild form of leukaemia.

His death comes after a battle with pneumonia.
At a small finger buffet ;o)
his beard grew across his face and sufficated him to death.

i only ask because 4GS has 2 small hands and i just hope he will be ok
Well, his hand was due to Poland Syndrome which does affect the chest, so maybe the pneumonia was aggravated by that
ITV credits his death as pneumonia, thats all it said really.

I wonder if Poland Syndrome is very rare - I don't know of anyone else who has this.

i do! 4GS and that is times two!
No - it wasn't recognised before the 1960s. It existed before then, but was too rare to be recognised as a syndrome and named.
