just caught teh end of tonights eggheads and he said the prize tomorrow was 7k have i missed something here or have they lost a couple of episodes?

No - A new series started yesterday and there was a �5000 rollover from the last. It was 6K today.

Well,the Eggheads I saw tonight lost against the challengers.I think the challengers were called something like 'Met your Waterloo'.
The challengers lost all the previous rounds,so they ended up with only one challenger against the 5 eggheads.Amazingly,when the lady answered all three correctly,it was the eggheads third question to answer.
There was quite a bit of conferring on their third question,and so they decied to go for the TS Eliot option.
Surprisingly,they got it wrong and the correct answer was WB Yeats.
The expression on all 5 eggheads faces said it all.
They were dumbfounded!!!
Ha!! It's nice when the challengers win for a change.
It gets a bit boring when the eggheads keep on winning all the time.
