Are you being served DVD
I've heard that the 'Are you being served' DVD series has had some of its more adult type lines edited, does anyone know if this is true and if its just the R2 DVDs or have R1 been edited as well?
No point in getting it if it's lost it's original humour.

Is it perhaps because we are now more "PC" than we were and jokes about gays, or "colored people" would not go down too well today.
I was watching an "Only fools and horses" on TV about 5 years ago and Uncle Albert came in with some shopping and said:
"I have just been down the p*ki shop"
This was probably an OK thing to say when it was made but would probably now be censored.
I know UK Gold (now called GOLD) do censor some comedy, even a Porridge had a mild swear word censored the other day.
