There is a long forgotten Sequence from Star Wars (episode iv)where when Jabba confronts Han at the space dock he is actually a humanoid in a mongol warrior type costume. The Alien Jabba was superimposed over the original actor when Star Wars was reissued with the added scenes in the 1990's. I dunno who the actor was though.

According to IMDb Declan Mulholland played Jabba in the original movie, but the scene was cut.
