Cooking oil on trainers

HOw do I get it off?

They are my �50 Skechers and I love em and now they have cooking iol on!! :(

They are suede can I put them in the wash? I have tried sueded cleaner but not worked

grrr so annoying

Hi karm,
would you wear them again with the stain on? If the answer is no, try rubbing neat washing machine liquid in to the stain then wash in the washing machine on a cool wool wash with normal quantity of washing machine liquid in your machine. I don't know how they'll turn out, it's a bit of a gamble! xxx

I have heard of people holding marked suede over steam, but your mark is oil based so I would try the w.m.l. May be in an old pillow case in your machine x
I thought talc/flour could be used to "soak up" the oil, but that sounds a bit optimistic.

maybe you should dye them another colour, if all else fails.
