haunted work place
31 Answers
hi everyone
i have just found out that the building I work in is haunted. apparently it is built on an old war time air field and is haunted by a RAF man. Odd things do go missing from time to time as well and things get moved,
my friend Nicola suggested we have a sit in till midnight on Halloween but to be honest with you I dont spend a minute longer at work than I need to.
does anyone else work in anyway scary like that.

My mum always said .... What's there in the day, is there in the night. - I'm still not sure if that was meant to be a comforting piece of advice, but anyway. My last house was haunted, It made me feel a bit uneasy at first - Especially the nights I spent there alone.
Things used to shift slighty, shadows brushed across furniture and walls and the odd tapping on my shoulder when I went to bed.
Lots of other things happened too, but I won't bore you all with it.

humm....
Well, I think the one thing that made me think - Ok, I'm not as comfortable with this as I thought, was after my fiance moved in. I'd been in the bedroom (doing bedroom stuff I suppose - it was a while ago) and I saw, what I thought to be my fiance on all fours, crawling up the stairs, totally naked, moving like a panther ready for the kill. I joked, glancing over the banister, 'what the **** are you upto?' looked back and he was gone! Still having a giggle about it, I ran down the stairs ready to mock him and there he was, sat as cool as a cucumber, on the sofa, fully dressed.
After returning from Paris, again, upstairs in the bedroom, I was unpacking the suitcase and this frantic rattling of the bathroom window was enough to make me go to check. It was October, so I thought it was probably the wind - The bloody thing was shut!
I went back to unpack, rattle, rattle, rattle..... walk along to the bathroom again, it's open! (off we go again)
That house was rented - When we bought this one, my brother was looking for a place to rent (finding his feet in the big world and all that) So he took it on.
About a month or two in, he said - some weird s**t in that house isn't there? He got someone in, who refused to go into the house. By all accounts a little girl had died there and spent most of her days playing on the stairs and along the landing. (which explains the freezing cold step - second to the top)
I would like to know for certain if there is someone there, why they're there and what they're waiting for, but it's not my house (or my brother's) anymore. I guess I'll just have to leave it at that.
