I didn't know that he'd passed away either. It was in a traffic accident. I can remember him from the Harry Enfield series where he played the Radio Station owner who moved Smashey and Nicey from Fab FM to Radio Quiet

Hi Jules and Daffy,

He was the producer of many comedy programmes like Spitting Image, Have I got News for You, Whose Line is it Anyway, Drop the Dead Donkey, Father Ted, Fast Show and loads of others. He also formed HatTrick Productions and Tiger aspect.

He was also Head of Comedy at the BBC.
