Oh no! I hope she doesn't go back with Jason, her and Steve are made for each other.

Did anyone else notice the boo-boo the scriptwriters made the other night? Early in the morning when Becky was on her way to court and buying her ciggies, she ran into Blanch in the shop and Blanche's face lit up like a beacon when she realised it was "Becky's day in court" as she put it. We all knew she was going to attend the court to have a good old nose didn't we, however she wasn't there in the morning when the case was adjourned, she appeared in the afternoon -but how did she know what time it was changed to when she wasn't there in the morning, no-one else knew about the change of time so how did Blanche? Yes, yes-I know it's not real!!
Perhaps Blanche was busy in the morning and took pot luck by turning up in the afternoon!

But I don't trust Blanche, now that she knows!!
No neither do I, she'll have a whale of a time "blackmailing" Steve over this!
What's the betting Carla is pregnant with Liams baby, and that is why she wants a quickie wedding with that awful Tony,(now he gives the the creeps alright.....)
Perhaps Blanche went in the morning, found it was to be heard in the afternoon and came back.

Yes I too like Becky, but the one that really makes me laugh is Norris he's so funny.
Well I certainly don't feel sorry for Michelle, I can't stand her. She treats Steve badly, it was OK for her to go off for hours (days even) during the baby mix-up days, but poor Steve in on a tight leash!

Also, did anyone notice the bar has been redecorated - again? That wishy washy paper has gone.
It was also OK for Legohair to go to Holland, or wherever it was to sing with the band!!!

I have like Steve since his first appearances in Corrie when he was a young teenager, aaaahhhhh, bless him!! He was a little devil!!
Remember when Steve and Andy took the JCB for a drive?
I remember it well Ethel.

Unfortunately, I can remember most of Corrie, with some gaps, right back to 1960 when I used to watch it on my grandparents 12" tele - we only had a 9" one with a magnifier and no ITV!!!
Those were the days when tv really was interactive.

Lots of button pushing, knob twidderling and banging to stop the picture rolling
I thought Steve and Eileen were a hilarious double act.

I miss Fred Elliott, I say, I say, I miss Fred Elliott!
And long quiet hours watching the test card or the London to Brighton train in two minutes (or was it five). And the National Anthem when TV closed down for the night, he he!!!
:)
lol @ Ethel, me too! I remember the first ever episode with Dennis Tanner, ha ha. It was so good then. Everything was better then, I was only talking to someone today about working in Woolies on a Saturday and what a great shop it was.
And chocolate bars were bigger then; there was no calories in sweets and cholesterol hadn't been invented.

Coronation does have some fabby characters even today, thankfully.
I worked in Woollies on a Saturday ..................... On the toilet roll and clothes peg counter (yes, there were counters in those days!). I bettered myself and went to work in M&S, and they put me on Mens Underwear!!!!!
Ethel, funnily enough I was thinking that about cholestorol this morning when i saw the cholestoral thread! A decade or so ago, noone would know what was being talked about!
I was a saturday girl on men's undies at M&S as well Lottie, couldn't understand at the time why so many lads asked me to measure their inside leg.
Sorry to interrupt your thread Gina, but I must just say this last thing about working in Woolies - not only were there counters, but 2 or 3 staff on some! And, there were little pull down seats to sit on if it was quiet, or our feet ached.
It's a new invention, Lottie, to replace Hardening of the Arteries which has completely disappeared
