lost music

i was sorting out my music this morning on my computer and deleted some files fromm the music library, unfortunately i forgot to check my settings and they were deleted from my computer as well.Is there any way i can get my music back ? i am using xp home edition and wmp 11, any help would be much welcome

did the same thing had over 200 hours of music all backups of my c.d. collection internet explorer download
a free prog called recuva this will be the whole content of your recycle bin but you click the files you want i.e in your case music files they will come up as individual files not albums or complete files so you have to recover them as individual songs some maybe broken and some maybe overwritten but with the song name still on it so check everyone to see if it is complete hope this is helpful

Have you tried System Restore, this may work.

If you don't know how, click on Accessories, then System Tools, then System Restore. Then type in an earlier date, say yesterdays's date. This will go back to how your computer was yesterday! It won't interfere with any files.

Worth a try, it always works for me.
