Facebook Login problem

I am experiencing difficulty loging on to Facebook. I enter my username and password and enter but it just keeps returning to the login page. On clicking 'Forgot my password' it sends an address to my e-mail but the link still returns to the log in page. Any ideas why, or if this is a common problem??

Probably just a spike in the system........browse some other pages for a bit, give it 30 mins or so and it will probably clear itslef up. I'm having no problems logging on at the mo.

Thank you. Had the same problem a few days ago and it did clear but now I am hearing about other people who cannot get past the login page. My son also uses this PC and has the same problem and he is trying all day to log on.
Trouble is, until we log on we can't contact Facebook to get advice. I think this may be Catch 22.

I had the same problem about a month ago and it was really annoying having to go through the rigmarole of password changing and following links etc. It DID sort itself out, but now if my daughter uses my laptop, I've got to put in my password again.

You'd have probably got more help if you'd put the question in the right section, ie technology? or internet? :o)
