> No filming permit for public areas in Britain (99% sure), but obviously do speak to local authorities if you will cause disruption (e.g. traffic jams)
> permission from the land owner if on private land.
> You may need to apply for a filmning permit when abroad. (even if on private land)
> NEVER film without permission if in America - especially in cities (phone the mayors office in advance for permission)- In LA you will need a permit for every shot! And you will have to pay for one! Once you have got one however you will feature on that day's shoot sheet- a sheet that tells whos filming what, where and when - you could find your name next to steven spielburgs!
