Is she the same in real life as in the soap characters she plays? She looked so sullen and cross throughout the programme, and obviously was extremely cross to be out of the competition. She was hardly gracious in her defeat. I must admit she was the worse skater of the bunch.

I didn't watch the show, but she was on GMTV this morning getting all stroppy about it. She played similar characters in both Hollyoaks and Eastenders, and when i have seen her off screen she strikes me as being similar to the charactersshe plays (apart from being murderous).

She was on This Morning as well, with the same attitude. I don't like her, she said she was a tom boy in real life and couldn't remember the last time she'd worn a dress. Said she lived in jeans and went to the football and pub all the time with the lads.

I can't remember the last time I wore a dress. Well, that's a lie, I can, it was my wedding dress. And I live in jeans but that doesn't give me the right to be flipping miserable and rude all the time.

i agree, i dont think she came across as a very nice person attall, quite aggressive and over powering. i didnt like her.
its a shame shes out though, only because her skating partner is out too!! :o( andrei lipanov, swoooooon, lol ....oooooh i think hes luvvvvverly! ..... i was looking forward to tuning in each week and seeing him ..... grrrrrrrrrrr lol.

Jason Gardiner{judge] was quite acerbic in is comments, he described Melinda and Gemma as"[Cardboard Cut Outs" You need to be thick skinned in more ways than one to take part in that competition! Quite enjoyable though! Todd Carty is more wooden than the Woodentops and needs his partner to hold him up! Interesting to see how it all develops!!

oh right thanks afcjan, I don't think gemma came across very well but I do feel sorry for her as I think she really wanted to do well. I think she came across worse than she actually is, she didn't want to come across like that in other words
