Just how old is he - and still having tantrums because he isn't centre of attention. I quite like the ageing-glamourpuss (is she the one with the braying laugh) - I even warmed to Nigel after the first episode.
Most week's there is usually one strange 'un - but they have certainly surpassed themselves this week!

This series was originally really good and had some great people on who were great cooks...the producers seem to have moved the goalposts and fill the show with quite bizarre people who generally cant cook! Its just a mickey take now and is actually so predictable. Only worth watching for the comedy factor...Did anyone see the one with the guy who served up tinned oranges, half a banana and some squirty cream?! He was convinced he was gonna win! .
Does anyone remember the school dinner lady from an early series?
She was first up and was convinced she was going to win. Her meal seemed very school dinnerish and she served it in her tiny, dirty kitchen. Her pudding was cheap 5 litre tub of ice cream and crushed maltesers, with strawberry jam on top. That was hilarious.
I agree it is less about the cooking, but I do get some good ideas from it now and again.
