Matt Stevens is brave bloke ( england prop forward)? Yes he's been a plonker for using drugs , but has taken it and not blamed anybody but himself. What a shame.

I heard he was having counselling for a 'social drug problem' , so I'm guessing he smokes a bit weed.
Given the fact that rugby players are known to be pi$$ heads isn't this the usual hypercritical bollox we've been listening to for God knows how long ?

Yes it was a "social drug" and he'sput his hand up. he's not going down the normal route of saying not me guv, he has given a tv interview saying it was all his own fault. Lost his england place and his club job so has paid a heavy price personally so why is it bollox?

What I meant was that it seems to be perfectly OK, even expected to go out & get pished but a bit of dope & you need counselling .
Not really the argument I know but I somehow don't think cannabis is a performance enhancing drug on the rugby pitch man.
It's the hypocrisy behind legal & illegal drugs I was referring to. That's why he has suffered such a heavy price .
