Does anyone remember the twins from Neighbours? One was Gillian,they were also hostesses in a quiz show with Des O Connor then nothing!

they were gayle and gillian blakeney and they played caroline and christina alessi in neighbours,not sure were they ended up after neighbours,one of them must have tried a pop career!

Yes, the other sister was Gayle, their surname was Blakeney. I didn't think much of their acting skills either!

ah yes, the classic storyline where Ramsey St thought they were operating a house of ill repute because folk would come round and when they were shown out the occupant would be wearing different clothes to when they arrived. they tried a pop career together. the quiz show was Take Your Pick. looks like neither has done any acting since Neighbours.

They did try a pop career, but it failed. I inrterviewd them for a teen magazine at the time, and they were both a bit gormeless, which in itself is no hindrence to a successful pop career, but their song was nowhere near strong enough, and they were just not as attractive as you'd think they'd be in person, after seeing them on the TV. Paradoxically, the reverse is true of The Cheeky Girls, who look a bit odd on TV, but are drop-dead gorgeous close up!

I cannot lie, after the Neighbours stint they had a bit of a false start in the music career so i rang them up and told them to come join me on the Death Star and indeed they are now my death-star-companions-and-tot al-and-utter-sex-slaves
