Can't believe the continuity department though - the dog fell in the canal, it was broad daylight, it was fished out and Ken held it in his arms, it was virtually dry by then (seconds later), the lady then offered him some leek and potato soup, the next minute it was dark, then the lady on the boat was rubbing the dog dry, and was only then putting the soup on. Was there a time warp?

I can't believe they're wheeling out the old Ken/Deirdre affair storyline again! Honestly they must have nothing to do with those characters except repeat the same old storylines over and over and over.

I bet it gets found out, the affair ends and K + D eventually get back together again. As usual

i though i was hilarious when the boat lady "made" the soup and deirdre said "oh iv'e open it now"and shook the contents into the pan

Peter's Mum was Ken's first wife, she was electrocuted by a dodgy hairdryer. He was a twin, they disappeared for 20 odd years after their Mother's death, until Peter's twin, Susan turned up and married Mike Baldwin to spite Ken. She then left, only to turn up years later with a child, Adam, Mike's son. She was killed in a car crash.

I know it sounds horrible, but I did giggle when that little doggy was trying to paddle around the water. Poor thing must have been looking askance at Ken and swearing at the crew for dunking it in.
