last week. But I must say what an absolutely brilliant piece
of television drama it has been. I think british tv drama is

I enjoyed it right up to almost the end, just kinda seemed odd that he wasnt caught, but fantastic drama !

I found the ending a bit disappointing. No explanation as to why the killer was doing it etc.

Me too too - bit of a damp squib ending. Had the policeman not been at the flats at the precise moment the doctor came out, they would never have caught up with him. I hate coincidences!

I thoroughly enjoyed it! Mr Quizzywig and I were on the edges of our seats. Rupert P-J's inspector ended up fitting in nicely with the rest (even though it appeared to be an all male police station!) but Phil Daniels was brilliant. Well done ITV for something a bit different!

I know he was doing it to be like the Ripper so you can just put it down to him being a nutter.

The bit when the DI turned up at the flats just as the Ripper was leaving was rubbish as well

To JimmyCooper - they were in her boyfriends flat. The doc said the boyfriend couldnt make it so the two of them had the fish pie. Does that mean the boyfriend had been prevented from appeariong? Is his body lying somewhere?

i felt let down too.
My husband didn't realise it was the doc. I had to explain it to him.
I thought it was quite obvious it was going to be him, only from this last episode though.
