Brandon Birdwell - domain name scam
1 Answers
Today I received an email from [email protected] asking to purchase one of my domain names. The email said:
Hi,
my name is Brandon Birdwell and I would be interested in buying your domain ?????.COM from you. Are you interested in selling it? If yes, how much would you want for it? What payment method would you prefer?
And just in case you are wondering how I got your email, anyone can get that info at whois.net
Regards,
Brandon Birdwell
The English and being so 'open' about how they got my name worried me. After some digging I have found out a lot of people have been contacted, a summary can be found here:

Please take care, and pass this message on as appropriate...
Thanks
