I have a yamaha home cinema kit (An amp comprising of the amp and speakers) would changing the seakers increase the sound quality at all?

If its yamaha then the quality would be very good anyway. the only way changing speakers would improve sound quality would be if they are better than the ones you have already.
Even changing your speakers probably woudn't make much difference as these sort of systems are built "to match" and every thing is designed to fit with the other units both electrically and visually, also as matt says Yamaha are very good.

I only ask this as m,y stereo source seems much louder than my 6.1 mix.
Thanks for the ansers. btw my fronts are very small satalite speakers.
