Can someone please clear this argument in our house. My mum says that the train that goes over the bridge at the start of Coronation Street runs Right to Left but twice she has seen it run Left to Right (the last time being last week) Ive tried looking at ITV Catch Up but it doesnt show the start. We think she is just loosing the plot but she is adamant that she is right. Does anyone know where i can find out if she is right or just plain cuckoo.

Can't answer that, but it is actually a tram, and it isn't real - it's CGI, so maybe they did do it running both ways.

PS it's CGI in Stenders too! (when they do it)

i have seen 2 trains go over it at the same time, crossing one another

Well thank you all very much, weve just had to swallow our pride n apologise, so maybe she is loosing the plot like we all thought.

Sorry that should say maybe she ISNT loosing the plot lol, we still gonna have to watch out though but if someone has seen 2 trams cross, looks as though she may be rite lol

Maybe there are different sequences shown?

As postdog said, it's all a fake, get the trams to and from work everyday and can vouch for that.

In fact, they don't really go near Granada Studios where it's filmed.

We're getting new trams soon, fancy yellow ones so wonder if they will update it!

It's right to left but they did film two sequences (right to left, left to right).
