If you get sky through a freeview box you had to retune it yesterday but the change over wouldn't affect a sky digi box as it comes from the dish not the aerial.
I just had that call. I think it was the company that tries to sell insurance cover. NO WAY would Sky ring. They don't care as long as they get the money.
I turned on the oldest digi box which we keep on Five and the message read there is a problem with this channel but when I keyed in 105 it was fine. The newer digi box and Sky+ are fine.
I do know that Freeview customers in my area - South Coast - Meridian area- had to retune the equipment today which I did and now don't have Sky Sports News channel 83 which is the only one I watch on it. BOO.
I would ring Sky or your local chap for advice.
Good Luck. It's er and Grey's Anatomy tonight that I dvd and send to Canada for my daughter. Definitely fingers Xd.
There was a scam where someone rings up claiming to be from Sky, maybe taking a chance that you have Sky, and offers to slash your subscription.....but of course they want your bank details...
