If the press report is accurate that the Duke called Simon Cowell a "sponger" then it is the first time that the Duke has had my full backing.!!!

How the hell the Duke of Edinburgh has the nerve to call ANYONE a sponger is beyond me.

His family were broke and Lord Mountbatton used his contacts to get the Phillip to meet the Queen and encourage their relationship.
