Does anyone else find Alan Davies on QI really irritating?
I really enjoy the show, I just wish he wasn`t on every show.

I don't mind Alan but I have never seen him in the same light since the story about him biting a tramps ear whilst drunk! Ergh.

Just a tabloid jaunt Hazel, no claims or charges were made and nobody reported needing treatment to any ears. It was the early morning after Alan had just been to the funeral of a friend and delivered a eulogy, so he was miserable, tired and drunk. Outside the bar this person who was apparently homeless called him a James Blunt and spat words in his face, before getting into a tussle with each other. Who really knows? I dont think even Alan really remembers, but since no charges were made, and the testament of the tramp concluded with Youd think an educated millionaire like him would have more decency - I think we can draw some conclusions to the whole story.
Anyway, that said, I like Alan & Steven in QI. And I agree with the respective comments about John Sessions, Jo Brand and Emma T. I am not a fan of those who just make a career out of doing the comedy panel rounds, so some new faces perhaps not even comedians would do the show well.
