Book shelf ends.
3 Answers
We are moving house, and as our third bedroom will be really tiny (8'8" x 6'11") have decided to make it in to a bookroom.
We have many hundreds of books, and though we realise we'll have to get rid of some, will still have plenty to fill the walls of this room, leaving the window wall free for my desk etc.
We hope to make wall to wall shelves along the longest wall, using the walls at either end as support. However the short set of shelves along the 'door' wall. which will be 3'8" long, and the one on the wall where the door opens, will both need a floor to ceiling support in place of the wall.
We are not the cleverest of DIYers, and wonder if there is a simple way of fixing this support.
Failing that does anyone know of 'shelf-end' supports that can be bought, and if so, where?
The Answer Bank has never let me down yet, so I am hoping for your ideas.
