dris - I've had a lot of boating holidays on the Norfolk broads. Usually very relaxing but noise does carry over water and is amplified, especially at night; it can seem claustrophobic in bad weather and there is very little storage space, so no good for a hoarder.

She'll be brave to take her barge to the broads - the broads are now totally inaccessible from the inland waterway system and she will have to go by sea, from London to Great Yarmouth

Well, he walks with a straight back, still has a headful of hair, he breathes unaided, he's still earning, and he's not a bad looking chap at all.

Note I said SOME 70 year old men - I didn't say he is the best 70 year old man.

No doubt there is an 80 year old somewhere still carrying out open heart surgery and has the hearing of a bat.
