Aha I knew it.
You just cannot keep an old enemy down eh.
Especially when it comes down to the old baldy Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen).I had a funny feeling that he was in hiding, healing his wound in which Sir Guy of Gisborne stabbed him with his dagger. While the Sheriff was being carted away in a wooden cart in one of the previous episodes did anyone see his hand move?
I certainly did!!
I knew he would be back with a vengeance.
So,the big finale next week, and it certainly does look good in the trailer of it at the end of tonights penultimate episode. Will the Sheriff reclaim his castle once again,or will he fail and flee once more?
Keith Allen plays the Sheriff so very well,I think he is a brilliant actor.
It's such a fantastic viewing for a Saturday night.I never miss it.It will be a shame when it ends next week.
:-(
What say you peeps?

If Keith Allen is in it next week it will definitely be his last appearance.

You think so Everhelpful!!?
Well, you never can tell with the old Sheriff on Nottingham.
Sir Guy did try to kill him off, but failed.
So,who knows, the Sheriff is certainly one tough nut to crack.
Maybe, just maybe, there could be another series in the pipeline.....I hope so,as I am a big fan of this series of Robin Hood.
Both Keith Allen and Jonas Armstrong are leaving the show.
I don't think a decision has been made about series 4 yet.I read on The Stage website a while ago that the writer of At Home With the Braithwaites has been commisioned to reimagine the series.
Question Author
How do you know that they are both leaving the show Everhelpful?
There must be a website link that tells you so.
I must try and look it up myself.
You certainly live up to your username,Everhelpful!!
Always ever helpful........lol
:-)

Your comment sounds promising marwel7.
But it won't be the same without Keith Allen and Jonas Armstrong.I think if they do both leave the show, the BBC should leave the show alone, and not continue with another series.
Either Jonas or Keith die this weekend,it's been in all the TV Papers.
Russell Crowe has been mentioned to take over the Robin Hood role, but I can't see that happening.
Question Author
Well,I'm thinking, that the Sheriff might snuff it.
Mind you,I am sure he will put up a good fight though.
Surely Robin will save the day.......hopefully!
:-)

Or,then again they could both kill each other in action.....
:-( ( i would like Robin to win)
But , should there be another series of Robin Hood Russell Crowe as Robin!!!! Hmmm,I don't see that happening either Everhelpful.
russell crowe is filming the robin hud movie in wales at the moment, nothing to do with the tv show

Hmmm, that was an interesting link dot.
Russell Crowe as Robin hud....I mean Hood..lol

Robin Hood as a major movie eh!!
Should be interesting on the big screen.I like watching cinema films.I have yet to see Terminator Salvation.
Must get round to seeing this film very soon.
Well,I must leave AB for tonight now.
I'm hopping off to FB or MySpace to have a quick chinwag among friends there.
So cheerio for now.....see you on AB soon.
Question Author
Oh yes,dot.
I've seen Prince of Thieves about three times now.
I don't particularly want to see it again so soon.
It's a very good film though!!

Thanks for the links by the way.
:-))
Didn't expect all 3 to go!!
Question Author
I agree Everhelpful!!
What a big finale eh!! Most of Nottingham Castle got blown up by the Byzantine fire barrels. But, what a blow for poor Robin who just got scratched by a poisoned blade.
Must have been quite a potent poison for just a small scratch.
Oh well,I suppose the Robin Hood producing team were running out of ideas. It was a great finale all in all.
A shame it had to end.
I wonder if Merlin will be coming back to our screens. That was another great show to watch.
