chill.. she's not gone to Iraq!!!!

okay, have a little cry then. she'll be fine, lucky her :o)
You'll both be fine, what with texting, phone calls, emails.

But you can borrow my hanky if you like. xx
Question Author
Oh..I know she will be fine...she did it last year also.....but a Mums got to wallow a bit...right???
Question Author
Ta,MWB....as long as it ain't pre-used.
She will keep in touch when she needs topping up with money !! When daughter No. 2 went travelling I had to tell her not to tell me about her adventures until AFTER she had done them........She had a wonderful time and I am sure Pasta-the -Younger will as well.
Who's she traveling with, pasta?
Question Author
She is doing it on her own MWB...same as last year. Says she prefers it that way.....brave or what??

Naomi....she has her dad for that.......and yes-I agree about not hearing about the adventures until AFTER the fact!!!
I must be unusual cos when my eldest boy went travelling last summer I couldn't wait to boot him out of the door and enjoy some peace from his antics.
Mind you, if my daughter decides to go travelling I will need a bucket for the tears. Can I have the hanky after you?
Gap years? waste of bleedin time.....excuse to do bu99er all for a year.
That's a bit rich sqad - you are on a permanent gap year!
Question Author
It's not gap year sqad........she worked during her 2 years, she just was not ready for uni yet.....NO-this is her few weeks of traveling before a bit of work, and then the start of her Masters studies.......

I will wash it for you mrs_o.....lol
Olive...LOL
pasta....yeah! yeah!
Question Author
sqad....I seem to remember you asking me where she was studying...but I never answered as I saw you Q over a day later......
She is at UCL
Good UNI....what did she get her degree in and what is she doing her masters in?

UCL.....brings back memories of Gower Street and ULU hut on a Saturday night. If you could pull a bird on Saturday night who had a flat, our food problems (and sex???) for the next day would be solved.
Question Author
She has been doing Chemistry with Management....not sure what her Masters will be in.......I do know that she is money oriented, and would get easily bored in a 'desk' job. I suspect she will lean more towards the management side of things.....and she already has a background in recruitment.
pasta...then be proud of her......she must have worked hard.
Question Author
I am sqad.....she is not a natural 'swot'......and has very mild dyslexia......but yes-she has worked hard in between the booze binges...lol
"Booze binges"....the are a phase that all students go through....don't ask me why.

Gower St. was University College Hospital
ULU Hut was University of London Building which had a dance every Saturday night......probably different now.

Other side of Euston Road wasan Indian Restaurant.........take them ther first.2 fo a meal and then try and recoup your 2......LOL
Question Author
Sounds as if you've got fond memories sqad......Plymouth....and now Bloomsbury (if I am not mistaken )
pasta....more fond memories that I could bore you with. LOL
